National League Minutes : Scrapbook, 1881-1891.

A ledger of the National League minutes from 1881-1891, includes American Association. Includes such entries as championship teams, rule changes, constitution, players expelled. There's the treasurer's account which cover business and travel expenses, umpire salaries and team dues. There is mention of the Brotherhood of Players and the National Base Ball Reporters Association of America. Another item of interest on page 66 is the mention of the first judicial endorsement of the reserve clause.

Harry Wright was a player-manager for the Boston Red Stockings of the National Association (1871-1875) and the Boston Red Stockings of the National League (1876-1877). Wright managed the Boston Red Stockings of the National League (1878-1881), Providence Grays (1882-1883), and Philadelphia Phillies (1884-1893).
